The former minister of aviation, chief femi fani-kayode, has reacted to the death of a little girl murdered by Fulani herdsmen in Enugu state.
Fani Kayode wrote:
Miss Uchechukwu Onyibor was murdered by Fulani herdsmen in Eke village, Udi LGA, Enugu state on sunday. She was 6 years old. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
Who speaks for this beautiful young soul? Who stands for this innocent angel? Who will avenge her and who will bring her killers to justice?
This tragedy is particularly painful to me because I love the people of Enugu state.
My heart goes out to my friend and brother Governor Ifeanyi Ugwainyi, to the Onyibor family, to the people of Udi Local Government Area and to the people of Enugu.
I urge the Governor to take heart, to remain steadfast, strong and courageous and to continue to fight the great evil of the Fulani terrorists as best as he can and with everything he has got.
I am aware of the tremendous efforts he has made in this respect and I know the measures he has put in place.
I urge you not to be deterred and to keep up the good fight my brother. Be rest assured that we stand shoulder to shoulder with you and your people in this fight and at this trying time.
We mourn Ukechukwu and all the others that were killed by Fulani herdsmen in your state on sunday with you. God shall surely see us all through.
